Conventional Multi-effect Evaporator
How it works:
In large-scale industrial production, it is often necessary to evaporate a large amount of water, which requires a large amount of energy to heat water to produce steam. In order to reduce the consumption of heated steam, multi-effect evaporation can be used. When the heated steam is introduced into an evaporator, the solution is heated and boils, and the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam generated are lower than the original heating steam (i.e. live steam), but the secondary steam can still be used. In multi-effect evaporation, the secondary steam can be used as heating steam and introduced into another evaporator, as long as the pressure of the evaporation chamber and the boiling point of the solution in the latter are lower than that in the original evaporator, the secondary steam introduced can play the role of heating heat source. Similarly, the new secondary steam newly produced by the second evaporator can be used as heating steam in the third evaporator. In this way, each evaporator is called a single effect, and multiple evaporators are connected together to operate together, that is, a multi-effect evaporation system. The evaporator that adds live steam is called the first effect, the second effect is called the second effect by using the first effect and the secondary steam is heated, and so on. Recycling results in the reuse of heat energy multiple times, significantly reducing the amount of heat energy used, which greatly reduces costs and increases efficiency.
